About Me

Quargs Greene is an American composer, violist, software engineer, and multimedia artist based in Los Angeles, working at the intersection of live coding, electronic neoclassical musical aesthetics, networked audiovisual performance, and human-computer interaction. After earning an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Boston University in the Fall of 2025, they scored the short film, "Beyond the Box", which is about people with disabilities in the entertainment industry, using only Strudel, viola samples, and their CSV input-driven multi-notch filter JUCE plugin called "Eglof", recorded into a DAW. They currently organize the Los Angeles Projector Swarm, a TOPLAP node aimed at furthering the live coding community in Los Angeles. Prior to this, they contributed 20 original songs to Paramount Global's music library, co-composed the North American Sony theatrical release "Clika", and toured as co-founder and violist of the band, Love Ghost throughout Japan, Ireland, and Ecuador.

We will explore the integration of _Jitsi_, _MediaPipe_, _Strudel_, _Hydra_, _Web Audio API_, and _O2lite_ as vehicles in the creation of a live performance environment whereby collaborators have the opportunity to implement dynamic and […]
