When Immersive Audio Renderers Meet Real Production
Limitations, Gotchas, and Workarounds
Building on our experience at Spatial9, we’ve faced multiple challenges in developing an engine for an automated workflow that preserves the creative, immersive audio experience. These obstacles have given us practical insights and patterns we’ll share with attendees. Our journey also led us to collaborate with the Alliance for Open Media on a new open-source immersive codec and renderer. We’ll discuss how our engine became the first to support this new codec and renderer, and what that means for future-proof immersive workflows.
