Goodbye Audio Crafting.. Hello Audio Clanking

Over the years, I've done many ADC talks about good coding, and I always emphasised how it's an art, not a science.. it's a noble skill that involves our uniquely human taste and intuition.. How quaint and naive does that sound in 2026!

So this talk aims to deal with how audio devs should best take advantage of our new AI code agent friends, and embrace the inevitable winds of change.

I'll be covering lots of common AI agent topics, but with an audio spin. This will NOT be one of those "here's a list of my awesome claude skills" talks. It's about high-level, non-provider-specific, long-term considerations when using AI agents.

- How does using an agent change our choices of toolchains and libraries?
- How good are the frontier models at different aspects of a typical audio project? What do they get right unprompted, what do they need to be reminded about?
- How do you stop the slop as a project gets large?
- What can we do with agents that we couldn't do (or couldn't be bothered doing) before?
- How do these tools change the way we should think about what to actually build?
- What things are still important for you to know with your actual brain?

It's quite likely that there will be 50 other LLM-generated ADC submissions around this same topic.. but I promise to make this one both fun and informative!
