I plan to cover how SoCs integrate host CPUs with dedicated DSPs for audio processing as well as how to expose such architectures with ALSA. The talk will focus on practical implementation aspects such as shared memory coordination, IPC between kernel drivers and firmware, DMA usage, low-latency streaming and real-time synchronization challenges.
