Edward Ray

I'm a composer and audio lead working across music and sound for games, with a focus on hybrid orchestral work that blends synths, guitars, and traditional scoring. My recent projects include a major cross-platform sports title in development and several Meta-funded VR games. I draw influence from artists like Mick Gordon and Danny Elfman. My work often sits at the intersection of cinematic intensity and raw, textural energy.

Although I’m often brought on as a composer or sound designer, I frequently end up overseeing the full audio pipeline: From creative direction through to final delivery and implementation. I also produce candid, monologue-style videos aimed at demystifying the audio industry from both a creative and business standpoint. I believe in clarity, momentum, and making audio that earns its place in the experience.
