Audio Live Coding System Called ohm???

18:00 - 18:20 | Friday 26th September 2025 | ADCx Gather
Intermediate

While developing an audio live coding system in Rust, I've explored the topic of audio graphs and found that practical information on audio graphs is surprisingly scarce. In this talk I'd like to present various approaches to implementing audio graphs, covering topics such as data structures, push versus pull-based processing models, fixed versus dynamic graph topologies, performance considerations, multithreading and techniques for diffing and reconfiguring graphs at runtime. Code examples will be in Rust, but the concepts apply broadly to other languages like C++.
